‘Support the Individual’

I made a very successful range of Leather bags some time ago. The concept was to create a Handmade object using only traditional tools to highlight the work of the individual.

We are so used to mass produced objects that we forget the craftsmanship involved in the production of objects. Each bag was hand cut hand punched and sewn and took an incredible amount of time to produce.

They were sold in a limited run for an extortionate price to cover the hourly production costs.
