‘Ancient Confessions’ Unveiling
Posted on July 11, 2010
At 99% complete I had the first full view of the illuminated manuscript ‘Ancient Confessions’ today. I had to get the men of the family to hang it from my parents balcony to get a decent photo of it. It will be exhibited when I get back from Thailand in September but I couldn’t go away without having a look at the (almost) complete painting. I am made up with the full effect! passers by seemed to approve, big thanks to the Hardmans. x

‘Heroes and Villains’ Better Quality
Posted on July 6, 2010
Its always hard to get a decent photo of the larger works but this is certainly better than its predecessor in the Painting Gallery. Here it is ‘Heroes and Villains’ inspired by the great Brian Wilson/Van Dyke Parks song of the same name.

The Owl and the Swifts
Posted on July 5, 2010
I have finally finished the lino-cut of the Owl nesting in the tree at dusk while all the Swifts and Swallows are darting around. It was conceived and designed by BOB I just did all the cutting and printing, a gift for putting a roof over my head for the last 6 months, Thanx BOB. I have done a few colour variants, magnolia, purple. Black and white framed looks solid. If you want a print get in touch… 30 x 42 cm, framed 40 x 50 cm
