Inspired by the wonderful ‘Starpoke’ Mandalas I have created a set that appeal to the GrowaBrain aesthetic. Mostly wheat-fields and tentacles, enjoy!

Do They Know it’s Christmas Time at all?
Posted on December 20, 2010
Hypocritical Christmas Dilemma – This was painted in Henley-on-Thames (one of the most affluent towns in the UK) 5 years ago as a response to the Christmas market that was erected just outside my flat.
The average British Household spends around £1000 pounds on festive Christmas food alone. Something’s not right.

What a powerful symbol the apple is, from the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden to the suicide apple of Alan Turing (father of computer science). It certainly seems that with this magical symbol comes a great deal of commercial success! Glad Apple corps and Apple Inc finally sorted it out. I like a cider myself.

Alan Aldridge/Paul Smith sneaker trade off!
Posted on December 1, 2010
I just had to post these great Alan Aldridge shoes!
I am made up with the trade off for the revamped ‘Cederblue’ painting posted a few months ago. It was a great trade for a limited edition Alan Aldridge/Paul Smith sneaker that I can assure will not be worn till the finer weather. The painting (started in 1997) has subsequently been lovingly hung (by my good self) in the fantastic Mr Charlie Waddington’s custom built studio, complete with the chair that features in the painting, the studio looks the Bees Knees!
Cheers Fella!
